1:1 Sessions

Private yoga sessions are available by appointment only. Contact me directly or via the contact form to make a booking.

While joining a group class is a great experience you may feel that private sessions are a more suitable option for your personal circumstances and lifestyle. The main benefit is that the sessions are entirely tailored to your specific requirements.

For example you may want to focus more on the physical side or favour a more meditative style of practice. The choice is yours!

Private sessions are also available for up to 4 people, so if you want to practice with your partner or a friend the option is available.

Restorative Yoga Classes

2 hours quarterly on a Wednesday

Restorative yoga is a deeply relaxing activity that takes place with the use of supportive props. This allows you to hold poses for much longer. Restorative yoga classes proceed at a much slower place and allow your muscles to relax and your mind to float.

Restorative yoga is very quiet and gentle and is suitable for both beginners and experienced yoga practitioners. It is great for your digestive system and supports your autonomic nervous system. During each class you can escape your worries and release all of the tension that may be holding you back.

At the end of the class we finish off with yoga nidra. Yoga nidra allows us to reach another level of consciousness between waking and sleeping and is excellent in reducing your stress levels.

Restorative yoga sessions are online.

 Chair Based Yoga

Friday – Ideal for MS and arthritis, and ideal for anyone who may find a general class challenging.

Yoga has a number of benefits including improved flexibility, increased strength and an increased sense of well-being. However you may find a general yoga class challenging if you have a condition which effects your everyday well-being. Chair based yoga is the perfect alternative that will enable you to stretch whilst always staying supported.

By using the chair(s) you will be able to stretch and strength your body at a level that is suitable for you. I have taught chair based yoga for students who have MS and arthritis and it is excellent way to activate your muscles, improve your posture and boost your energy flow.

I run an online chair based yoga session on Fridays. And also do 1:1 sessions either online or in person. If you would like to book a yoga class in Redditch, Worcestershire, please get in touch with me at Sharon Gisbourne Yoga, or via the contact form. To book the online class click the link below:
